It is not required to be in class every week, although encouraged. Each class is recorded and sent to current students after each class,

Course Overview
Unit 1: Foundations of Herbalism
Learn the history of herbal medicine, basic botany, how to properly harvest and preserve herbs, and the ethical and safety principles that guide responsible herbal practice.
Unit 2: Herbal Preparations
Learn how to make a variety of herbal remedies, including teas, infusions, decoctions, tinctures, salves, balms, powders, and capsules. This unit introduces the foundations of herbal preparation so students can begin creating practical remedies with confidence.
Unit 3: Common Medicinal Plants
Explore some of the most commonly used medicinal herbs for everyday wellness, including culinary herbs, digestive supports, calming herbs, and immune-supportive plants. Students will learn how to work with herbs for common concerns and begin building a deeper understanding of their traditional uses.
Unit 4: Herbalism for Specific Conditions
Study herbs traditionally used to support sleep, relaxation, respiratory health, skin health, women’s health, men’s health, and children’s wellness. This unit helps students understand how herbs can be matched to common areas of support while emphasizing thoughtful and responsible use.
Unit 5: Integrating Herbalism into Daily Life
Discover how herbalism can become part of everyday routines through cooking, home remedies, self-care rituals, and gardening. This unit helps students bring herbal knowledge into the home in practical, approachable, and meaningful ways.
Unit 6: Culmination and Future Exploration
Bring everything together through holistic health concepts, course review, personalized herbal projects, and guidance for continuing the journey beyond the classroom. This final unit helps students reflect on what they have learned and feel supported in taking their next steps in herbalism.
The Herbal Introduction Course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of herbalism, covering the basics of medicinal plants, herbal remedies, and practical applications. Over the span of six months, participants will delve into the world of herbs, gaining knowledge and skills to incorporate herbal practices into their daily lives.
Course Format
- Weekly in person sessions Wednesday 6:30PM-8:30PM Starting March 2026
- Course materials, including recipes and guides, including all glass, ingredients, and other materials needed to create in class.
- Optional assignments and projects for hands-on learning

Once the tuition fee has been paid, it is non-refundable, regardless of the circumstances that may arise during your enrollment. Certification Information
Upon successful completion of the program, you will receive a Certification of Completion. It is important to note that this certification does not carry a specific designation as an herbalist. Instead, it acknowledges your dedication and successful completion of the prescribed course of study.
