Intro to Herbalism with Dorothy’s Herb Shop March 2026 7 Week Course

Intro to Herbalism Accelerated. Seven Week Comprehensive Course

FIRST DAY OF IN SESSION IS MARCH Wednesday March 18th

Any student who registers will get all information the Start of March 2026

A complete herbal foundations program designed from the long standing six month curriculum at Dorothy’s Herb Shop, now offered in an intensive seven week format.

This accelerated version was created after receiving valuable student feedback. Many shared that they wanted the same material and the same depth, but in a structure that allowed for quicker progression, more hands-on focus, and less waiting time between lessons. You will learn everything taught in the original six month Herbal Introduction Course. Nothing has been removed. The information has been reorganized into a focused and efficient learning path.

Students learn through one self paced online lesson each week paired with one in person lab session at the shop. This allows you to absorb the reading and foundational concepts at home, then arrive ready for hands-on practice, formulation, and deeper discussion.

Enrollment is now open for the next session.

How the Course Work

Weekly Online Lesson

Each week you will receive a recorded teaching video in which I read the assigned section of the material aloud, explain the concepts, and guide you through key ideas. Students can watch at their own pace, pause when needed, and take clear notes. This replaces the longer lecture style format and strengthens your readiness for in person work.

Weekly In Person Lab

Your in person class is where herbalism becomes tangible. Students complete teas, tinctures, syrups, salves, powders, extracts, skincare, culinary blends, and more. This is the applied portion of your training and mirrors the structure of the original six month program.

Each lab is designed to reinforce the online lesson and give you practical skills you can replicate at home.

Who This Course Is For

This program is ideal for beginners, home herbalists, wellness seekers, mothers, caregivers, and anyone who wants structured education with practical experience. It is also suitable for those who want a strong foundation before continuing into deeper herbal studies.

Why This Course Was Restructured

The Intro to Herbalism course was originally a six month program. After running several rounds, many students shared that they wanted the same material presented in a shorter and more concentrated timeline.

The accelerated structure meets this need by pairing online lessons with focused hands-on labs. This creates a stronger learning flow, reduces downtime between concepts, and allows students to practice what they learn immediately.

All content from the six month program is still included. The format has simply been refined.
